Motherhood is a constant hustle. Sometimes we only have 5 minutes in the bathroom or out in the car to gather ourselves before we go inside.

Here’s a place to reflect & find your tribe in that time…

We can all think of a smooth 13 cliches about black moms at the drop of a dime. Ones that'll tickle you, some that might sting and others that will outright break your heart...

Here, we're all of that.

Most of all, its real. Transparent.

Whether you're a new mom or a veteran in this thing, you've probably figured out that we're all just winging it.

I'm here to give you my rendition of Black Motherhood and welcome you to share yours.

I'm a Southern Mom of four plus a fur baby. I've been married for eleven years. I'm veteran and I currently work in S.T.E.M. My first love is literature (I adore Toni Morrison and Sister Souljah, but I fell for the Scarlet Letter first).  My second love is definitely food with an emphasis on baked goods and seafood.

Being a mom can be pretty amazing. And I love that part.

Other times its hard... But I'm here for that too.

Overall we're just in this head first trying our best to make a good life...
